Another tribute song to my Exalted group, this time the players that survived at the last session, though mostly Reinhardt. Most of the song is sung through him since he's the one that got Shan pregnant.

It is important to realize that when they went into hell, Shan was only a couple months pregnant. During their escape, she was hit with an aging effect that sent her into labor. It was an epic session and the perfect ending to an Exalted campaign.

The song is based on "Bat out of Hell" by Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman. I highly suggest listening to the song while you read the lyrics so that you get the right tune, pacing, and intensity in your head.

This song is really thick with game terminology and I'm not sure how much I should really explain...

Neomah, Tomescu, and Blood Apes are Demons of the First Circle. They are the mook demons.
Anjali is our Lunar, and the guy beside her is an Infernal who was made from her solar mate's exaltation (don't get me started).
The party's zenith really was a lot like a D&D barbarian that had gotten religion, she really just wanted to kill things.
The womb mentioned is the creature that holds the corrupted exaltations that make Infernal Exalted.
Ligier is a Demon of the Third Circle and is also hell's SUN.
Octavian is a Demon of the Second Circle and a notorious warmonger.
A jouten is a sort of avatar of one of the yozi themselves (yes, one did come charging at the party when they made their escape).
Autochthon is a machine god sort of off to the side of the setting. His worshippers having mortorcycles and other anachronisms are a source of humor among Exalted nerds.

The phrase "like a Lunar and pantless Solar Mass Combat" is a reference to an old conversation on the Exalted froums where a developer explained the power difference between Solars and Lunars. Solars have the ability to be the most powerful people in a fight. Their charms have to be piled up, however, and it takes a couple of rounds for them to reach full power. Lunars can be at full strength very quickly thanks to their knacks and charms, and are inherently loyal to their solar mates. The developer said that when they're attacked it is the Lunar's job to buy the Solar enough time to put their pants on. Their pants being a massive amount of combat bonuses, weapons, and possible their gigantic armored pants.
The Mass Combat part is a reference to how if a small group is not powerful enough to be counted as a unit in Mass Combat then they add bonuses to the unit's leader as if they were equipment. So if a solar "doesn't have his pants on" then he'll just be adding a small bonus to the Lunar in charge of the unit.
